Clients such as magazine publishers, financial institutions, direct marketing firms and more! And, due to continued growth, CDS is seeking qualified candidates for several Websphere Systems Administrators!
Bachelors in Computer Science or MIS and/or successful completion of equivalent technical courses in computer related field or equivalent work experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of Websphere or e-commerce systems or similar technologies ( .Net) required; practical Websphere work experience preferred.
Great Java debugging skills.
3+ years experience identifying, troubleshooting and resolving technical problems using critical thinking and analytical skills in fast past environment strongly preferred.
3+ years experience with J2EE applications preferred.
2+ years project life cycle work experience/skills preferred.
Demonstrated initiative, ability to learn and assimilate Web based technologies and concepts.
Proficient verbal and written communications skills.
Simple math skills.
Excellent PC knowledge/skills.
Willing to relocate to Des Moines, Iowa or surrounding area.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides administration of highly available e-commerce systems. Responsible for installation, maintenance, upgrades, monitoring and support of e-commerce software and J2EE applications. Supports and maintains in-house developed e-commerce applications. Maintains confidentiality of CDS and its clients' proprietary information. Architects e-commerce based clustered environments. Documents installation procedures, changes, etc. Supports/tests hardware/software pertaining to e-commerce systems. Monitors systems performance. Automates e-commerce deployments using scripting solutions/tools. Works on call on rotation basis. Other duties as required.*
